Amid extensive media coverage, a new archaeological discovery in Saqqara. The archaeological mission working in Saqqara uncovered 100 sealed wooden coffins, from the Late Period and the Ptolemaic era, in their initial condition inside three burial shafts about 27 to 32 feet deep, and 40 statues of the deity Ptah Soker, God of the Saqqara Necropolis, and 20 wooden mint boxes of the god Horus, with arts, and two statues of the priest Phnomus, made of acacia wood were among the discoveries.
