New Egyptian Museum to open in Hurghada December 23, 2019 Ashraf Michael A new museum in Hurghada is set to open by the end of December, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) Mostafa Waziri announced on Saturday. This is one of the projects the Ministry of Antiquities has for the first time undertaken in cooperation with the private sector, Waziri said. He added that the museum had been designed in accordance with world-class museum standards to showcase the aesthetic and luxury side of the Egyptian civilization throughout the ages.
